Arts At The Gardens
We strolled through the gardens and the greenhouses. Ate a turkey wrap from the tea house. And, listened to live music. Wonderful oldies. I admired the expanse of the grounds and their meticulous upkeep. Imagining what it must have been like to live in this summer home, I could almost feel the excitement of playing tennis on the lawn or swimming in the pool filled with Canandaigua Lake water. Formal dinners. Staff waiting on everyone hand and foot. I was imagining something similar to Downton Abbey probably.
Though the festival has passed this year. Perhaps you may want to start thinking about next year. It’s your Innkeeper’s favorite festival of the year.
