Frequent guests of our Upstate New York bed and breakfast are accustomed to feasting on the likes of French toast crème brûlée, sausages and fresh fruit; the meal takes place by candlelight, at 9am, after a fantastic night’s sleep.

We so enjoy seeing our guests well fed that we’ve partnered with the Brown Hound Bistro to create special Upstate New York getaways. No need to go out for dinner after a full day of exploring the Finger Lakes region. Chefs from the Brown Hound Bistro will serve you a four course meal right here at our Upstate New York bed and breakfast.

You’ll start with warm, creamy baked brie, then cleanse your palate with a winter salad. For your entrée, make the difficult choice between Bistro Duck, Incredible Wellington, or Browndog Yellowfin. For dessert, indulge Crème Brûlée or Chocolate Orange Lava Cake.

Savor each mouthful, and linger after the meal. After all, you are in your home away from home, and need only make your way to your room whenever you are finished.

There are two more Brown Hound Bistro dinners at our Upstate NY bed and breakfast: this Saturday, March 20 (be spontaneous!) and Saturday, April 17. We’ll save you a seat.

Looking forward to the Brown Hound Bistro dinner this Saturday. Eight guests have signed up for this feast. We even had guests who were not staying at the 1795 Acorn Inn want to join us. Unfortunately, that would make it just a tad less special for our guests so we declined. Bon Appetit!

Often Guests visiting the Finger Lakes area ask if there is a restaurant at the Inn. Especially during this chilly time of year when people like to stay in after a thrilling day of skiing or a full day of wine tasting. Unfortunately we just don’t have the facilities to serve dinner on a regular basis at this cozy little Bed and Breakfast. But, we are offering something pretty spectacular this winter on a few specific dates. The Brown Hound Bistro, a favorite local restaurant, will be serving a four-course dinner at the Inn. This gourmet feast will be enjoyed with new friends in the comfort and warmth of the Inn’s Dining Room.
